Michele & Joel

Our dear friend Michele is getting to be a familiar face on our blog! We were thrilled when she and Joel got engaged. They have the sweetest story too! They went to high school together, where Joel admired Michele from afar, while Michele had no idea who he was! They both went on to have lives and families of their own, but fate wasn't done with them, and they were introduced by a mutual friend, and as they say, the rest is history! We had Lauren, Michele's daughter, and Andrew, Joel's son come along to document their new journey together as a family. We were only in town for a few days and we just *had* to sneak this shoot in!
I can't say enough about how sweet they are together! They all have such love for one another and respect for each other. We're so happy for them and so honored we could document their love!

Bernadette & Jamaal

Bernadette and I met when we were both at the University of Houston-Downtown (where I also met this really cool, cute guy named Tony). When she asked if we would do her photos we felt so honored. She is gorgeous and so smart, and Jamaal compliments her perfectly. 
We thought a shoot downtown would be fun and we all had a great time! Really though, with fabulous people like them they made it so easy for us! 

Lauren & Michele

Our dear friends Michele & Joel just celebrated their One-Year Wedding Anniversary, and I wanted to share photos we took of Michele when it was just her and Lauren. We went to our favorite park in Houston, Hermann Park. It feels like several parks rolled into one! You have the Houston Zoo in one corner, hugged by a lake where paddle boats glide across the water. The Japanese Gardens are here as well, and it is both beautiful and tranquil. Although it was a typical hot and humid day, these gals stayed cool and were the perfect models! Lauren is a natural in front of the camera, which I know she gets from her mom! We'll post photos of Michele and Joel's Engagement and Family session; Lauren has grown so much between shoots!
