Bernadette & Jamaal

Bernadette and I met when we were both at the University of Houston-Downtown (where I also met this really cool, cute guy named Tony). When she asked if we would do her photos we felt so honored. She is gorgeous and so smart, and Jamaal compliments her perfectly. 
We thought a shoot downtown would be fun and we all had a great time! Really though, with fabulous people like them they made it so easy for us! 

Lauren & Michele

Our dear friends Michele & Joel just celebrated their One-Year Wedding Anniversary, and I wanted to share photos we took of Michele when it was just her and Lauren. We went to our favorite park in Houston, Hermann Park. It feels like several parks rolled into one! You have the Houston Zoo in one corner, hugged by a lake where paddle boats glide across the water. The Japanese Gardens are here as well, and it is both beautiful and tranquil. Although it was a typical hot and humid day, these gals stayed cool and were the perfect models! Lauren is a natural in front of the camera, which I know she gets from her mom! We'll post photos of Michele and Joel's Engagement and Family session; Lauren has grown so much between shoots!

Rachel & Nick

This shoot was just plain for fun! Tony's sister Rachel found a beautiful wedding dress at the resale store and being the crafty gal she is, added her own touches to the dress! We roped Nick into being the "groom" and we were off to Rice University. Rice has an amazing campus with stunning brick buildings and green grass for miles. We only had Nick for an hour so we had to work quickly, but we loved what we captured!

I love this shot of Rachel, (if I do say so myself)! She looks gorgeous!
